Upon arrival at Kathmandu Airport, you will be provided a private transfer service to reach your hotel. On the first night, you'll have the opportunity to meet representatives of Elevate Trek and receive a comprehensive pre-trek briefing on Annapurna Circuit Trek.
After a delicious breakfast in the morning, we'll embark on a bus journey to Pokhara, covering a distance of approximately 200 kilometres. The drive is estimated to take around 7 to 8 hours. On the way, we'll be treated to captivating views of the Trishuli river and the charming rural landscapes that makes the journey itself a scenic delight. Upon reaching Pokhara, we'll check into the hotel we've already reserved, where you can indulge in a delightful dinner before retiring for a well-deserved restful night.
We will kick off our adventure early in the morning,and drive about 6 hours to reach Besisahar, which is the starting point of our trek. From there, we will hike straight away towards the village of Denauti, where we can witness authentic Nepali village life.Then, we’ll reach Bhulbhule, a Gurung village, for overnight stay at a teahouse.
On the fourth day, after having lunch ,we will follow the Marsyangdi river and make a steep climb to reach the Manang region at Tal village. On our way, we will come across captivating views of fields of barley, rice, and potatoes to reach Kodo, a significant village in the Manang valley. Continuing our journey, we’ll then climb a stone Kani to finally arrive at our destination for Dharapani.We will have our accomodation in a warm and inviting lodge, cherishing the serenity of the surroundings.
On the next day, after having breakfast, we will leave Dharapani and follow the trails along the Marsyangdi river to reach Chame village. As you look up, you will see remarkable views of Lamjung Himal, Annapurna II, and Annapurna IV (7,525m). Moreover, major attractions for tourists in Chame include hot springs.Overnight at Chame.
Today, we will begin our journey to Pisang by crossing over the Marshyangdi river. Along the way, we pass through fields and reach Teleku ( 2775 metres) before reaching Bratang. As we keep on moving ,we can enjoy a spectacular view of Paungda Danda (1500 metres) above the river. After that we will enter the beautiful village of Pisang and have an overnight stay.
After having breakfast, we will start our trek in Pisang, heading to Braga, a unique Tibetan village with impressive architecture and a large Gompa. On our way down to Manang, we can encounter even more breathtaking views of the Annapurna range, including Annapurna II, Annapurna III, Annapurna IV, and Gangapurna. On this day we will explore Manang village, a hidden treasure of Nepal. Tourists are often captivated by the barren upper plateau, resembling a desert-like landscape in this beautiful village.
On the next day, we will start walking to reach Yak Kharka (4000 metres). If you are interested in Tilicho lake trek (customisable), instead of heading north to Yak Kharka from Manang, we have to head west through Khanshar Village. However, from Tenki village, we will head northwest to Jar Sang Khola valley, where we can encounter the village of Gunsan with unique flat mud roofs and witness yak and horse pastures. Finally, we will reach our destination at Yak Kharka after crossing a small river. Overnight at Yak Kharka.
Today is the most challenging part of our trek, due to higher altitudes and strong winds in the upper regions and lasts about 3 to 4 hours.Afterwards ,we will reach Thorong La Pass and can eventually witness the majestic Dhaulagiri (White Mountain). Following a narrow trail across a slope, we will reach Thorong Phedi.
On this day, we will trek from Thorong Phedi (4,525 metres) to Muktinath Temple (3,760 metres) via Thorung La high pass (5,416 metres) -which is the highest point of the trek. We will pause for a moment to enjoy the stunning Himalayan views.Afterwards, we then head to Muktinath, which is a sacred site for Hindus and Buddhists. One can enjoy a unique horse race festival known as Yartung in Muktinath which usually falls in September. Overnight at Muktinath.
In the morning, we will explore Muktinath temple. Following a delicious morning breakfast , we will ride on a local bus to reach Tatopani.While passing through Jharkot and Khingar villages, we can see traditional Tibetan-style buildings.Then ,we will head towards Jomsom where you can explore Kali Gandaki region. After exploring the surrounding area for some time, we will move to Tatopani, which is renowned for its natural hot springs, where trekkers can relax.The waters of Tatopani are believed to have healing properties against skin diseases. Overnight at Tatopani.
After having breakfast, we will leave Tatopani, and trek through Thakali villages to reach Ghorepani. We will spend the night in this village and experience the magical views of the Machhapuchhre and Annapurna Range.
We will wake up early in the morning and hike up for Poon Hill trek for a breathtaking sunrise experience.You will witness the mesmerising sunrise view on array of mountains including Annapurna I, II, III, Hiuchuli, Nilgiri, Dhaulagiri, Tukuche, Annapurna South, Lamjung Himal, and Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) from the summit of Poon Hill.
Afterward, we will head steeply through Bhanthati to reach Tikhedhunga, where we'll spend the night. On the next day ,after having lunch in Nayapul,we will take a jeep directly to Pokhara.Upon reaching Pokhara, we'll swiftly escort you to your hotel, ensuring you have the chance to unwind and find relaxation. If you wish, you can leisurely stroll along the captivating shores of Phewa Lake, soaking in its beauty. Alternatively, for those seeking an adrenaline rush, thrilling adventure activities such as paragliding and boating await you. After an eventful day, enjoy a comfortable overnight stay in the hotel, recharging for more adventures ahead.
Here comes the end of our trekking. On the last day, we will head back to Kathmandu, cherishing the memories of Nepal's unique culture and landscapes. Alternatively, you can also opt for a 25-minute flight (not included in the package) from Pokhara to Kathmandu.Â
